If I had said, “I will speak thus,”Behold, I would have been untrue to the generation of Your children.
The situation is Psalmist was looking around and seeing wicked people prosperity and was jealous.
And he wanted to speak out his feelings.
Behold, I would have been untrue to the generation of Your children.
The words that you speak can impact generations.
We should realize that the words that we speak impact generations.
There are 2 foundations that people build their lives on.
1) People who build their foundations on feelings.
These are the people whose emotional part takes over every area of life.
When some situation comes in their life, they get emotional , they start responding in emotions.
The boss said something to you - you get emotional
The coffee doesnot have enough sugar - you burst out in your emotions.
you slowly start building step by step of your life in emotions.
And when storm comes and hits - In all those emotions and feelings you will crumble and fall.
22 I was so foolish and ignorant;
I was like a beast before You.
Your emotions are good to express the Truth.
2) People who build their foundations on Truth , On Principles of God.
Psalmist was very emotional when he saw the situations around,
You can either speak Truth or can speak feelings.
people who speak feelings destroy themselves with those feelings
How can I change this morning from being emotional person to a person who responds in Truth.
There is always hope in the presence of God
17 17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God;
Then I understood their end.
To change from being an emotional person to person of Truth, you should dwell in presence of God.
Express your emotions to God. and express the Truth to people.
God did not want emotional before people.
What a True Worship
25 Whom have I in heaven but You?
And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.
26 My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the [g]strength of my heart and my portion forever.
And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.
26 My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the [g]strength of my heart and my portion forever.
