God works through His Word.
God first speaks and He does.
God said Let there be light and there was light.
God said Let there be waters be gathered, and let there by dryland
grass, herbs, trees, animals,
God speaks and that comes into existence.
These are the days where people want to see and then speak.
Seeing and then speaking in that order is the job of the world
but the job of the believer is this - Speak in Faith and then See it to existence.
Today your situations are not good, Speak the favor of God.
Today your health is not good, Speak the healing of God.
Today your job situation is not good, Speak the favor of God.
First God changes your language, then brings the breakthrough.
Speak the Kingdoms language.
Every crooked path be straightened
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Everlasting Father.
This morning i want all of us to focus on this name.
Everlasting Father.
People live timebound.
mans thoughts, decisions most of the times are timebound.
Even the people on earth are time bound.
The fathers on earth are time bound.
Once they finish the race, they leave.
But today morning , i have good news for you.
Our God is an Everlasting Father.
You and me live in a time.
But God is out side of Time.
He is not bound by time.
His Word is not bound by time, His purposes are not bound by time.
His relationship is not bound by time
But He is Everlasting Father.
Today you might be missing your earthly father, but I tell you , you have an everlasting Father.
His relationship with you is everlasting.
Are you in that relationship with your Heavenly Father?
Are you IN or OUT?
Father has always an invitation.
How long will you stay outside,
How long will you play with world
Come to the senses and come back to the Father.
this Everlasting Father.
Psalm 90:2
Before the mountains were brought forth,
Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
Matthew 1:
2 Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot Judah and his brothers.
17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations, from David until the captivity in Babylon are fourteen generations, and from the captivity in Babylon until the Christ are fourteen generations.
42 generations.
Genesis 22
18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice
There is a promise to Abraham that in Your Seed, all nations of earth shall be blessed.
Matthew starts from Abraham, that is from where the Promise began.
Promise is fulfilled in Christ.
Galatians 3:16
16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ
Journey of the Promise.
The Journey of this Promise of God took almost 2000 years to travel.
It started with God Promising the Word to Abraham. But it took 2000 years to fulfill the promise.
This is a Process in making/ Journey in making.
We all love instant things. we love instant food, we love instant things to happen.
but we all want final Product.
tell me some instant things that we have access in life.
instant coffee, instant job, instant news, instant you tube videos,.
But with God- God works in His process.
When we think of Christmas, we think of the birth of Christ. but rarely we see the Promise and the purpose of God going through this process.
nobody suddenly becomes a great man of God.
it took Moses 80 years in making.
it took
Journey that starts with the Word from the Lord is a fruitful journey even if it takes time.
Today many people they start their journey without a Word.
they start a job with out a Word from God.
They get into relationship without a Word.
they make all mess in life because there is no seeking of God in their lives.
This morning I want to tell you if God gives you promise, hold on to it.
This Journey of the Word is so amazing that - That once the Word came out from the mouth of God.
and Abraham believed in Gods Word - He became the starting carried of the Gods Word.
As soon as the Word is spoken and a man believes in the Word, the Promise enters into him.
and the man becomes a carrier of the Promise.
Today I tell you if you get a Word from the Lord, and then you believe in it, know that the Promise enters in you and the journey begins.
It is the Word of God that does the journey, but a man and woman who believes in that Word becomes the Carrier.
You don't have to be extra ordinary person to be qualified by God,
but your belief in God makes you qualify for carrying His promise.
Let see this Journey:
Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob,
These 3 Patriarchs are amazing. The amazing thing about these 3 patriarchs is they are never alone, they are always mentioned together.
God says I am God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob.
Moses says the God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac, Jacob.
The Lord Jesus says
" Matthew 8: 11 And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven"
Abraham promised at age of 75, believed and became the carrier.
and Isaac became the only Son of Abraham and in his obedience became the carried of the promise.
Jacob - this man was more interested in the Promise and the Word that comes from the Father than in the food.
while his brother was busy hunting for food, looking for food, trying to eat food,
while many might be just thinking what to eat on a Christmas day, Jacob was planning how do i become the carrier of Gods promise.
He was a younger son, Even though he does not have advantage that easu had, but as soon as his brother came , Jacob was so excited, so filled with the passion to carry Gods promise, He believed in that promise and he became the carried of Gods Promise.
esau sacrificed his birthright, being a promise carrier, for the sake of food.
do not sacrifice the things of god for the sake of things that persih.
are you sacrificing your time with God by becoming busy with all other stuff
are you sacrificing your time with God for making more money
And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?”
Many people say the same way esau said, its just a fasting prayer, it is just another sunday service.
whoever tries to look down on the things of God, they miss out.
do not sacrifice the things of god for the sake of things that perish.
That is why It is important to do fasting.
Some people feast when you call for fasting.
Jacob became promise carrier because he lay hold of the promise.
1 Timothy 6:12
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
Today if we ask youngsters, what did you lay hold on.

5 Salmon begot Boaz by Rahab,
The Promise was travelling and had touched an unlikely person.
Have you ever met an unlikely person or completely odd person in a given situation.
Yesterday morning, there was one guy who rang my door bell at morning 5.30 AM.
In Life, you meet some unlikely people, whom you will never think will win.
Rahab was one such unlikely person to carry the promise of God.
God is not a respecter of persons, but those who honors His Word will find favor with Him.
There are many people in Jericho at the time of Joshuas conquest.
Joshua 2:11
11 And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted; neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because of you, for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath
The was lockdown in the city of Jericho. Not because of carona, but because of the fear of Israel.
All the people heard that Israel is coming.
What is the difference between all people of Jericho and Rahab?
Coming onto Gods side.
for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.
You might be in the enemy camp, till now you might be going hand in hand with the ways of the devil.
with addictions, with lifestyle that God hates.
But I have good news for you.
When you decide to step over from enemy's camp to Gods camp, no matter what your past was, the promise will enter you and you will become the carrier of the Promise of God.
John says the Word became Flesh, but the Word was spoken by God to Abraham, but the Word was being carried by people who found favor in each generation.
the Promise continued the journey and found a man named David.
Who is the 14th generation ? David.
Something glorious hapenned at 14th.
Very important part of the Journey of Gods Promise.
1 Samuel 16:
6 So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, “Surely the Lord’s anointed is before Him!”
7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
When Samuel came to house of Jesse, the
8 So Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, “Neither has the Lord chosen this one.” 9 Then Jesse made Shammah pass by. And he said, “Neither has the Lord chosen this one.” 10 Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, “The Lord has not chosen these.” 11 And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all the young men here?” Then he said, “There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep.”
Christmas is a message of God finding you.
How Gods Promise entered 14th generation man - David
1 Samuel 16:6-11

So the Lord told the prophet Samuel to anoint the next King of Israel.
Samuel came to invited Jesse and sons to the sacrifice.
Samuel started looking at the appearance and said a big statement.
“Surely the Lord’s anointed is before Him!”
But the Lord Immediately corrected him.
Gods Promise does not see the appearance of a person, but
The Word is on the journey and the Word does not just enter outside,
What does Hebrews 4:12 says
Hebrews 4;12
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
So all the 7 sons passed by and God has not chosen any one of the.
Samuel asked Jesse, only these. Jesse said , there remains yet the youngest, keeping the sheep.
Davids own father Jesse did not bring him to the Sacrifice that Samuel called.
Sometimes your own family might be hiding you from the purposes of God.
You might not find encouragement from your own family.
your earthly father might not have brought you to the biggest moments of your life.
But I tell you, when the favor of God is upon you, not even your family can stop you from Gods purposes.
It takes a Spiritual Father to bring you out of the hiding.
Sometimes own families becomes a hindrance for the glorious purposes of God in our lives.
But your own father might not searched you, but when a Samuel comes, when a Spiritual father comes, he pulls you out of the wilderness and makes you to be part of Gods plans.
That is the reason , you should always be plugged to your Spiritual Father, to your Spiritual mentor.
The Journey continued and found Joseph and Mary.
Joseph and Mary
16 And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ.
Word of Faith was travelling.
Before the manifestation of the Word becoming flesh, Joseph and Mary .
Mary said - Let it be done according to your Word in my life.
Joseph - Did what the angel told him to do.
Promise enters those who agree with Gods Word.
Do you know you have to agree with the Word. Come to an agreement
and Finally we see the Word became Flesh.
The Promise that was given to Abraham was manifested in flesh in the Seed that is Christ.
Gods Word is never void.
He who has promised is Faithful.
There were many people who came into the lineage of Christ.
Different background, different natures,
but they all became carriers of the Gods Word.
This morning, do you want to be the carrier of Gods Word.
Today, you might have come to celebrate the festival, eat, but are you ready to carry out His purposes?
Is your heart burning that God I want carry your purpose.
Today are you struggling in your life, with no direction, not knowing what lies ahead, wondering am i really worth.
Today morning, Have you been hesitating to commit your life to God.
Is there emptiness in your heart?
Are you lonely, even though many people are around you, but still feeling lonely?
Are you delaying to commit your life to God?
Are you struggling with some dark areas of your life?

Prophets were prophesying all the way while the Word was on the Journey.
At the time of the birth of our Lord Jesus, There were many people in the land of Israel who Knew that Christ will be born in Bethlehem.
Many people knew the scriptures.
People were very religious.
But in the midst of the multitudes, God found few people to carry out His purpose.
They might be very unlikely people.
David was an unlikely person to become King, Joseph was unlikely person to rule Egypt.
But very unlikely people were found during the arrival of Christ.
The Lord uses people who are unlikely to carryout His purposes.
Gods promises goes through a journey.
Man always see temporal things. God sees eternity
Whenever we look at promise, Promise goes for a journey.
Man wants things instantly, instant coffee, one day delivery.
20 years back, will be waiting for a new paper to be printed in the morning and then read. now instant news.
Process:
We pray and we expect instantly.
God goes on a process route.
