But in my [g]adversity they rejoiced
And gathered together;
When a person is going through a challenge, there will be people who rejoice in others adversity.
How many of you say I have the Fear of the Lord.
Is there any one in Church that you cannot talk heart full.
The Fear of the Lord in you is reflected in relationship with fellow brothers and sisters.
What is our attitude concerning others.
Proverbs 24:17
Do not rejoice when your enemy falls,
And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;
Romans 12:15
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
The only attitude of a believer concerning the other believers should be
Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.
There are people with exteremes,
Some are too much interested in others matters.
they become busy bodies and keep gossipping.
2 Timothy 2:16,17
But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.
II Timothy 2:16 NKJV
the Other extreme is they dont care about others at all.
Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”
Genesis 4:9 NKJV
Rejoice with those who rejoice - if you dont care about other person, how can you know if they are rejoicing or weeping.
When someone in the Church is giving a testimony, rejoice with them.
When others are blessed , do you get jealous?
Luke : Elizabeth and Mary
Luke 1:39-40 NKJV
Now Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah, and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth.
God puts people in our path who are blessed.
If you are uncomfortable when other person is blessed, then something is wrong in you.
Elizabeth saw that she got Lord's prophet, Mary has the Lord Himself.
But she rejoiced with Mary and considered fortunate.
When you rejoice with others, there will be Worship.
A man is Spirit , Soul and Body
When you are born again, what is born again?
Your Spirit is born again and the Holy Spirit resides in you.
Your Mind has to be renewed by you.
and When mind is renewed , the Character of the born again Spirit is revealed through your body.
A carnal mind always rejoices at the enemy , that is what the world does.
But a spiritual mind follows the fear of the Lord.
