But Jehoshapat can recognize that it sounds good but it is not from. God

Many times we think man's ways of goodness is God.

But we cannot contain God in the box of man's goodness.

The problem in Church today is we want to hear good things and say that's the Word of God. but  God's goodness is different from man's goodness.

Ahab says still there is one man

That means Ahab knows what it is from God. But still refuse to call him for the meeting.

How many times we refuse to call the true man or God during our testing times, but we only call who can please our ears.

But Ahab,refused to call him because he cannot take a rebuke, because he gave a free hand to Jezebel.

Ratio is 400:1

Jehoshapat really knows the Prophet of God.

And he says don't say such things.

Foundation Teachings - New Creation

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he  is  a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV

When a person becomes  born again , believer. what actually happens.

What changes? What Matters? What does it mean.

You are not saved by those just words. But you realized that you needed a savior. In your current state, you had no hope and you have heard how Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. and you took a decision that you need to be born again.

John 20:20

And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
John 20:22 NKJV

The disciples  had become born again.

New creation begins when Holy Spirit comes into heart.

When a person believes in Jesus Christ and confess the Lordship of the Jesus Christ in their lives.  The Holy Spirit comes and lives in them.

Not only you are saved, you are also sealed.

Ephesians 1:13

13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who[d] is the [e]guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Born - new baby is born.
Born again - new creation.

The new creation begins with Holy Spirit coming into heart.

Promise of sealed by the Holy Spirit.

Old things have passed -

When  a  child is born, do you know any of the past of that child. - NO

When you come to Christ - God sees you as a small child with Old things passed.

Your sins are forgiven and forgotten.

your curses are broken.

your destination has changed. Earlier you were destined to hell, but now you are destined to Gods presence.

Behold all things have become new.

New is not the body or mind but the New Spirit.

New Creation is Life of the Spirit

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
Ezekiel 36:26 NKJV

Where the HolySpirit comes, newness comes into your heart.

Newness: there is someone to guide you.

In the Past, to tell a lie does not mean anything. Earlier, you might be someone who complains about everything.

2 Factors:  HolySpirit , WORD of God

But the newness is that HolySpirit inside you and the Word that comes to you will guide you.

Instead of complaining ,you will wait for God's ways to be revealed in your situations.

New Creation is life of Love - 

The New Life - starts with Love.

New Creation life - has love.
Many people asks question after I take baptism , can I do this or not.
Can I watch movies, can I drink.

Is this right or wrong.

But that is for religious people.

When you are born again, you become Spiritual being not religious being.

Spiritual works in freedom not rules.

Spiritual - the freedom to Love God.

You know who is the first person who saw Resurrected Jesus Christ.

Mary the Magdalene.

Your Love for God grows more.
You start living with gratitude.

And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.
Luke 7:37‭-‬38 NKJV

You love God so much you hate anything that hurts God.

Eternal Life.

And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

I John 5:11‭-‬12 NKJV

Knowing the Father and His Son is eternal life.

Yes Eternal life beyond the life after this world.

But Eternal life can be experienced ( Gods life can be experienced ) on this Earth.

Stephen was a man who stoned by religious people and he could reveal Gods life even in the face of death.

Part takers of divine nature.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that  is in the world through lust.
II Peter 1:2‭-‬4 NKJV

Slaves of sin cannot take part of the divine nature.

But when you are under Grace, sin cannot master over you.

Divine Nature - Nature of God

Nature of God - Purity, Holiness, Righteousness,Mercy,Compassion, Love,- this all will flow because you are under Grace.

You cannot be a recipient of grace without dispensing it.

In New creation there is victory over sin.

Many say this anger , you cannot overcome , this particular sin, its impossible to overcome. But those who are under Grace they can overcome.

Romans 6:14

14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Set Mind  and prove Will of God.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Do Not Love the Wrold

1 John 2:15

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

World

The World means the system and the practices of the system.

Any system you see that brings you into it and leaves God and Godly values out of it is called the world.

A system that brings you to a habit of life where you forget about God, where you do not think about God.

Jesus says in JOhn 17

John 17

and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

1 John 5:19

19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

For example : 

Celebrating Christmas

Most of the things that people do will have nothing to do with Christmas.But a system is created. the system involves billions of dollars exchanged in gifts.a system the business of buying trees and decorations and saying Merry Christmas.  A System that leaves God out and puts certain things in place and say you have to do this, this and this.

Any system that gets formed is the world.

Do Not love the world - To chose the system, over Gods will.

Whenever love is mentioned, that means making a choice.

God has given the power of making choice to the man.

We are in the Robotic world. we see robots everywhere.

But God created us not as robots. not programmed. but a spirit inside, and mind to make choices and a flesh to experience then tangible things of the choices you made.

You cannot love God and the world at the same time - that is a lie.

you can either love God or hate God.

when the bible says do not love the world. that means every time you make a choice do not leave the ways of God, the Word of God.

Do not make world as priority. Do not make the system as priority.

But make God as priority.

Make Christ as priority, then the system as priority.

Your Christmas should be filled with Meditation of Christ birth, sharing of Christ love to others. That should be it. But we leave out the main thing, we fix on the system.

your iphone in itself is not wrong, but the love of upgrading for the next higher version and getting into the system is what God hates.

2 Timothy 4:10

10 for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica—Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia

Friendship with world - makes you enemity with God.

James 4:4

4 [d]Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

If anyone loves the world - the love of the Father is not in him

If anyone - that could be anyone.

loves the world - there is a serious repercussion,  that love of the father is not in him.

can you imagine that love of the father not in a person - its darkness.

Galatians 1:4

4 who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5 to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

having the things is different than  loving the things

David was in palace, but still loved God., I would rather be a watchman in the house of God.

Everything that is in the world - falls under 3 things

Lust of the flesh               Lust of the eyes                          Pride of the life

Craving for pleasure outside of Gods Word.

Lust of the flesh - Cravings of the body.

everything might not be wrong by itself, but loving it in ungodly ways is wrong.

Having money is no wrong, but bible says loving money is wrong, gaining money in unrighteous ways is wrong.

sex in itself is not wrong, but sex outside the will of God ( that is marriage) is condemned.

Lust of the eyes - Desire to have - Covetousness - I see it I must have it

Every time you see something, you crave for it

That is why the bible says Walk by faith, not by sight.

Pride of life - Treating myself above others. loving position. 

Position craving - to be recognized by the people around us, in schools, colleges at the cost of the ways of God.

These things of the world is not from the Father, but of the world.

there are 2 fathers mentioned in the bible.

God the Father - of all truth

father devil - of all lies.

what daddy do we serve?

The World is passing away.

Everything in the system passes way.

Whatever the system throws at us, is all temporary.

Why do you buy new clothes, the old clothes fade away.

When we get a new phone - how careful we will be - we will wipe it and keep it clean. and few weeks, it fades.

This body , we try so many thing - to make it show that it is not fading.

the World is passing.

He who does the will of God abides forever.

Whenever a person is doing the Will of God, what that person is doing is laying the foundation for eternity.

Whenever there is pressure to perform according to the values of the system, then you uphold the ways of God and the word of God  then you say I live in this world, but with Gods kingdom in perspective.

Finally

1 John 5:19

 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—[a]our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

But if you daddy is God the Father and His love is in you, then you overcome the world.

Your Time is now

Time:

You and me live in the space if time.

But God inhabits out side of time.
He rules the time.  He is outside of time.

In the Time that is given to man, Man works to achieve the life of becoming successful, paying all the bills, becoming great, becoming rich, becoming famous.

But man, in the world , trying to achieve all things, missed out on the great purposes of God.

In Bible, in every generation, there might be living so many people, but only few names were written.

Have you ever though Why only those people names were written?

Today as I was thinking, they partnered with God and accomplished the purposes of God.

Noah and his family was written, but none of the other names were written.

Enoch was written, but none others were written in that generation.

Abraham, Lot, and few were written and no one else.

Isaac and Rebekah and his enemies and no one else.

Jacob and his enemies-

Children of Israel and their enemies

Samuel and no one else

David and few others - no one else

We should know that God has put in this time to partner with Him  , in His plans , in His purposes.

Many men and women of God, have lived in their time and accomplished purposes of God.

Esther book is a unique where we see how God works and how men and women has partnered with Him and defeated the plans of God.

Esther 3:v1

After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him and set his seat above all the princes who were with him.

God commanded Saul to kill all the Amalekites, but Saul spared agag.

1 Samuel 15 : 4

2 Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel, how he ambushed him on the way when he came up from Egypt. 3 Now go and attack[a] Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’

Whenever the people of God does not destroy the strongholds of the enemy and does not take out what the Word says, but leaves a little, it will show up later in life, can be seen after generations.

Haman decided to kill the whole Jewish race.

Esther 3:8

8 Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus, “There is a certain people scattered and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of your kingdom; their laws are different from all other people’s, and they do not keep the king’s laws.

When there is anything going against Word of God, we should know that it is time to stand up a child of God. 

You and me has responsibility to Stand for God

Some questions can really go deep in life.

Esther:

How can we know this is our time

Esther is queen. Esther looks not affected by the decree.

Many times we think we are not affected by the decisions taken by government.

But Mordecai says

Esther 4:13 NKJV
And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews.

Saul did not kill agag.

We know what we are dealing root could be somewhere.

Spiritual battle.

Your position can be used for revealing who you are.

Your blessing should be a blessing to others.
Reveal who you are.

Initially she did not reveal.
She is not like other Jews.

All we see is it could have negative effect on me.

David says I served the purpose of God in my generation

Remaining silent: 

Do you think by not doing you will be saved.

God might use someone else. Deliverance can come from somewhere else.

and you might get cursed.

Conflict of interest - 

Take a step of faith.

Psalm 50 (16-23)

Seeing you hate instruction And cast My words behind you?
Psalms 50:17 NKJV

Do you love God's instruction or hate God's instruction.

Many of us say we love God's Word, God's instruction.

Whether you love God's Word or hate God's Word , you will know by this .

People who hate actually Cast God's Words behind them.

They hear from one Ear and they leave it from other ear.

They listen but they don't take it home.

Check your surroundings ,
Don't leave your belongings .

When we leave the pews, we make sure to collect our bags, our jackets, and everything that belongs to us.

But from today , when you leave check whether you take God's Word spoken to you .

You carry it home. You are the carrier of the God's Word.
Only you can carry the Word.
If you cast it down then you have God's instruction.

The Word you carry should be spoken to each other , the Word should transform you, the Word when you carry , will give hope to you in challenging situations, the Word you carry will keep you safe, the Word you carry will impact others who come in contact with you.

How can you then Cast the God's Word behind you?

“Now consider this, you who forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, And there  be none to deliver:

How can you forget God's Word.

When you are full of the blessings , people forget God and  God's Word.

Deutoronomy 6: 10-12

“So it shall be, when the Lord your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build, houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant— when you have eaten and are full— then beware, lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

Church , to worship God means you treasure God's presence and treasure God's Word.and don't cast God's Word after you read it,after you hear it.

Treasure and be the carrier .

So Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground.
I Samuel 3:19 NKJV

Can we pray this prayer.
Lord let me not cast your Word. And let me be the carrier of God's Word.

1) Have I ever experienced the visitation.

The most important thing is
Stand for the Truth.

Abraham was called by God.
Lot joined Abraham.
But after Lot left , God spoke to Abraham.

His Visitation is always in Supernatural ways.

Can I say like Samuel,
Here I am Lord.

Before God speaks, He will check my heart.

Willingness to obey God's Word.

Peter says At your Word, I will cast the net.

Paying a price.

And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side. Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.” And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

2020.

Praise the Lord. You are all at different stages of life.
Few of you could be just starting college, just started jobs, finishing final years in college.

Whatever stage your life, this Year , the Year 2020 is the most important year in your life as it stands.
You can't change the year that was done, You can't predict the years ahead.
So just as it stands for you and me , the very most important year is the current year 2020.

Make 2020 , the best year you ever had or you will ever have in your life.
Make it the Best Spiritual year you ever had.

Why I say the best Spiritual year , if your Spirituality ( the matters of the Inner most being) is good, usually you will have a very good life overall.

Because every time you see a problem outside ( everything that you see a problem in natural realm is in a deeper way related to the matters of Spirit).

It is in your hands.

Yes making 2020 the best Spiritual year is in your hands.
Well some might say, it is in Gods Hands.
Yes it is in Gods hands, but it depends on you.

While God has put His sovereign boundaries on the certain matters , but he opened up a play for mankind to call the shots and He responds accordingly.

That means , Most of His Actions are dependent of your actions.

So, if you decide to make this year the BEST and follow what it takes to make it the BEST. this year 2020 will be your BEST year.


SURRENDER


19 Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to [g]Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.


God formed the animals and brought to Adam. Adam was given the responsibility to name. So Adam started calling the names.
Mr. Mrs Lion
Mr. Mrs Tiger
Mr. Mrs Elephant
Mr Mrs Zebra

Your lack does not stop you to help others in that area.
But in helping others, in exercising and doing the work perfectly, God makes you realize the need that you have.

So for man to get the suitable help, God opened the History of Surgical Department.


When God made the first surgery in the history of surgical sciences.
The first thing that God did was , He put Adam to sleep.

21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22 Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He [h]made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

Eve put hand in Gods hand.

Eves wonderful attributes

1) She Saw God First
        Its very easy when you are single to look at different places.  But Eve saw God First. 

2) She Put her hand in Gods hand.
As soon as she was able to see she is not worried about what is going to happen to her. what will be her future. what await her . who is going to take care of her.

Into your hands I commit. She put her hands in Gods hands. and she walked to where God walked her through the aisle of garden of Eden.


Making the year Best year.
The first attribute is SURRENDER
See God first.
Somebody hurt you - How did Jesus deal when people hurt him.
Every situation see God first. 

Are you looking for a life partner? are you looking for a breakthrough in your career? looking for best time in college. See God first , surrender your hand into Gods hand and say I will walk wherever you walk me through.

So Make this Year - The BEST.

MINDSET

Romans 8:
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be [b]carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.7 Because the [c]carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.


As you enter into the new year. Remember, there is therefore now no Condemnation to those who in Christ Jesus, if you are walking according to Spirit.

2 laws - Law of Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus - Brings freedom to a man.
            law of sin and death - always brings a person into condemnation.

Verse 5 says - those who live according to flesh - set their minds on their flesh
                      those who live according to the Spirit - set their minds on things of the Spirit.


So we are seeing 2 ways where people can set minds on.

You will be in either or.
Some people want to set their mind of things of the Spirit, but they live according to flesh, so their mind goes on things of flesh.

Many Christians think, ah today i did not tell a lie, i did not talk badly about others, i did not lust with my eye. so am good.

It is not what you do, but it s where your mind is set on?
It is one thing to go online and buy a dress,  it is another thing , your mind is set on designer clothes all the time and your eyes are always looking for the latest fashions in the industry and you live to according to flesh and your mind is set on the flesh. and that leads to death.

Carnally mind is enmity with God.
Do you know that you can be enemy of God by just what you are thinking.
And when a person becomes enemy with God, all consequences will be revealed.

Do you want to have the best Spiritual year that you ever had in your life?
Set your mind to please God. Set your mind on the things of the Holy Spirit.
Set your mind on Righteousness, Joy, A life of Rest, A life of Peace.

Carnal minded people are easy to tick off. they are easy to disturbed.
They don't have rest.
Past year, did you struggle with your mindset. Always thinking about passions of the world, negativity in other people, looking down on yourself.
Year 2020 has Hope, 2020 is year of Celebration.
What better way to celebrate than changing your thinking.
Just your thoughts can lead you to victory.
Change Just your thoughts.


When a person is filled in the Holy Spirit, and led by the Spirit, a life of Peace is evident.

Life of Peace.
You cannot blame anybody or anything for bitterness in you.

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

Common things between 2 men -
Both want to build a house
Both heard same teaching - they have same material
Both Faced storms - 

Distinctions between 2 men

Rock vs Sand
Rock - drill, dig
Sand - can  be quick

Wise - Hears the Word of God and uses to the issues of Life
Fool - hears the Word of God and does not apply to issues of life.

Both heard same message - 
wise - heard and acted on those words
foolish - heard and did not act on those words


Malls open the doors - when it detects the activity.
only storms reveal how your  building is

rain came
flood came
wind blew
But when the foundation was strong, the house withstand the storms.
