During this Quarantine time, it is the opportunity to slow down, calm down, and get back to what really matters in life.
In other words, in usual life style, we would be getting up early to get ready, say a quick prayer, eat a quick breakfast, and then jump into car, train and then comeback late from work and finisih off things to get to bed early so that you can rise up early for work again.
But things have changed.
this time of Quarantine , God has allowed for each believer to be strong in Him, to sit and know Him personally.
What is the one thing that you did that you have not done when things were normal.

15 See then that you walk [e]circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of [f]God
The Message Translation
11-16 Don’t waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness. Expose these things for the sham they are. It’s a scandal when people waste their lives on things they must do in the darkness where no one will see. Rip the cover off those frauds and see how attractive they look in the light of Christ.
Wake up from your sleep,
Climb out of your coffins;
Christ will show you the light!
Climb out of your coffins;
Christ will show you the light!
So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. 17 Don’t live carelessly, unthinkingly. Make sure you understand what the Master wants.
18-20 Don’t drink too much wine. That cheapens your life. Drink the Spirit of God, huge draughts of him. Sing hymns instead of drinking songs! Sing songs from your heart to Christ. Sing praises over everything, any excuse for a song to God the Father in the name of our Master, Jesus Christ.These are desperate times!
Most of the people spend their time on just busy work.
But very rarely they use for what thier Master wants.
Have you ever thought God why you allowed a time like this.
Have you ever asked God, what is your purpose for me in a time like this?
We can easily pass 2 or 3 months or even 6 months like this with out doing anything that what God really wants.
Matthew 16:3
3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ [a]Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.
Look at the times. when you see the signs, whats going on in Europe, whats going on Middle East, whats going on around the world, you should understand the times.
The Days are evil
Isaiah 5:20
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
David
1 Samuel 22 : 1-2
So David got away and escaped to the Cave of Adullam. When his brothers and others associated with his family heard where he was, they came down and joined him. Not only that, but all who were down on their luck came around—losers and vagrants and misfits of all sorts. David became their leader. There were about four hundred in all.
Make sure you understand what the Master wants.
David was quarantined. You always want to be with the best of people. Smart people. people who can help you.
But when he was in cave, 400 people ( losers, misfits) all came and.
You can think what David do at that time.
Psalm 142: A man in loneliness is the best time to pray.
5 I cried out to You, O Lord:
I said, “You are my refuge,
I said, “You are my refuge,
A man who redeems his time prays.
David Praised
Psalm 57:7,8
7 My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast;
I will sing and give praise.
8 Awake, my glory!
Awake, lute and harp!
I will awaken the dawn.
I will sing and give praise.
8 Awake, my glory!
Awake, lute and harp!
I will awaken the dawn.
David helped others
1 Samuel 22 : 1-2
So David got away and escaped to the Cave of Adullam. When his brothers and others associated with his family heard where he was, they came down and joined him. Not only that, but all who were down on their luck came around—losers and vagrants and misfits of all sorts. David became their leader. There were about four hundred in all.
1) David did not waste time in Adullam Cave
2) David Prayed, a time of dependence.
3) David Worshipped
4) David the leader. helped others
when you alone are feeling low, and you see other weak people around you, what you do matters.
The best way to serve God is to serve people.
David used this time in Adullam cave to train the 400 men. they all became mighty warriors.
distress,debt, discontented
The best leader is born out of his own troubles, but still help others.
In your Quarantine time, whoever is in your cave with you, step out of your misery, and be the leader.
As men in your family step out and be the leader.
Dont be a victim and install fear in others, but rather start building the people in the cave.
2 Samuel 23
8 These are the names of the mighty men whom David had: [b]Josheb-Basshebeth the Tachmonite, chief among [c]the captains. He was called Adino the Eznite, because he had killed eight hundred men at one time. 9 And after him was Eleazar the son of [d]Dodo, the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were gathered there for battle, and the men of Israel had retreated. 10 He arose and attacked the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand stuck to the sword. The Lord brought about a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to plunder. 11 And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. The Philistines had gathered together into a troop where there was a piece of ground full of lentils. So the people fled from the Philistines. 12 But he stationed himself in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the Lord brought about a great victory.
A man who was afraid and hidden in the cave , now all losers came and surrounded him in the quarantine time.
Look the losers who came to him turned into mighty men.
So the Quarantine time was not a mere waste time.
How a man uses his time - reveals either his wisdom or his foolishness
A lazy man just passes time whether he is at home, or going on a ride or on a spot.
But a wise man uses his time properly.
V 15 says Redeem the time because the days are evil.
