Seed - Sow - Reap
Recap:.
Genesis 8:28
“As long as the earth endures,
seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat,
summer and winter,
day and night
will never cease.”
After the Flood, God promised that there is seed time and harvest.
There is seed time and there is harvest time.
Just like the laws of gravity, just like the seasons, just like day and night, just like cold and heat.
Only other principle that is mentioned in
Seed time and harvest.
No one can escape this .
No one can deny this.
Even an atheist or any religion will agree this principle.
In agriculture this is true.
Even in Spiritual realm it is true.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Galatians 6:7-9 NKJV
Spiritual principle is this.
Whatever man sows, he will also reap.
In farming if you sow wheat you will reap wheat.
If you sow apples , you reap apples.
Similarly whatever a man sows he reaps.
if you sow time, energy in Word of God , you will reap the revelation of God because God rewards a diligent seeker.
Every Action
Luke6:
37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
You can sow to flesh
Or you can sow to the Spirit
Every person does sowing.
Whether you know or not, you are sowing.
On a Friday night you might be coming to a fasting prayer you sow to your Spirit.
On the same day some might be sowing to their flesh.
Whoever sows to the flesh reaps corruption.
Jesus says if you keeps treasures in this Earth, moth and rust will destroy.
But if you treasure in heaven you will ever eternal life.
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV
Let us see one scripture in Bible where someone sow
Judges 1: 4-7
4 When Judah attacked, the Lord gave the Canaanites and Perizzites into their hands, and they struck down ten thousand men at Bezek. 5 It was there that they found Adoni-Bezek and fought against him, putting to rout the Canaanites and Perizzites. 6 Adoni-Bezek fled, but they chased him and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and big toes.
7 Then Adoni-Bezek said, “Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off have picked up scraps under my table. Now God has paid me back for what I did to them.” They brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.
This gentile king Adoni-Bezek - whenever he catches any king , he would cut the caught king's thumbs and big toes and they would pick up food from under his table.
Can you imagine the kind of cruel work he would did to the other kings.
Finally this king got caught by Judah. and Judah cut of his thumbs and big toes.
Exactly what he did to others, he received it.
This king didn't know that he is sowing some seed when he was cutting of the thumbs and big toes of others.
Every action you do, you should know that you are sowing
Many times we don't realize that you are sowing.
You might just talk bad about someone, you sowed something.
You might have visited someone in need in hospital, you sowed.
Life and death is in the power of tongue and those who live it will eat the fruit of it.
Jesus says in
for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
Matthew 25:35-36 NKJV
The righteous didn't know that they were sowing the seed when someone was hungry they have food.
All those who sow to the flesh will reap corruption.
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
I Corinthians 6:9-10 NKJV
In Church,
Some people sow discord.
This is very dangerous
A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.
Proverbs 6:19 NKJV

There are those who sow discord among brethren.
Some people know , but still dont do it, that is sin
17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
Some people know , but still dont do it, that is sin
17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
checkout what you sow.
Sometimes we think why my life is like this, why everything is becoming a mess.
You earn but you don't have enough.
you think you are providing to family , but they are not living as per your expectation.
you think you do good work but your boss is harsh with you.
don't think of trying a different harvest.
first start looking at what are you sowing.
Change what you sow
Many times we want to reap without sowing.
31 And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.
Many times, we think why people are not showing love to me, why they are not talking to me.
But we are always takers. But remember you receiving comes by giving.
Look at Abraham.
Genesis 14:
And he gave him a tithe of all.
He gave the tithe
Now see what they reap
Tithes for Support of the Levites
21 “Behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tithes in Israel as [i]an inheritance in return for the work which they perform, the work of the tabernacle of meeting.
What and Where can you Sow.
First - Remember first sowing is RighteousnessSeeking the LORD - First sow
Hosea 10:12
Sow righteousness for yourselves,
reap the fruit of unfailing love,
and break up your unplowed ground;
for it is time to seek the Lord,
until he comes
and showers his righteousness on you.
reap the fruit of unfailing love,
and break up your unplowed ground;
for it is time to seek the Lord,
until he comes
and showers his righteousness on you.
Sow where you are nourished.
Bring the tithe to storehouse
Sow in other believers lives.Especially Helping believers.
7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Remember Cornelius:
Cornelius for all the good works that he did -God blessed him and his
household with salvation.
Sow for souls
John 4
35 Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. 36 Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. 37 Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true. 38 I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.”
WorkPlace
7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, 8 because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.
5 So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers to visit you in advance and finish the arrangements for the generous gift you had promised. Then it will be ready as a generous gift, not as one grudgingly given.
Generosity Encouraged
6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written:
10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
12 This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 13 Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. 14 And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. 15 Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
Finally Gods blessing is what reaps.Genesis 26
Finally Gods blessing is what reaps.Genesis 26
12 Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him. 13 The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. 14 He had so many flocks and herds and servants that the Philistines envied him. 15 So all the wells that his father’s servants had dug in the time of his father Abraham, the Philistines stopped up, filling them with earth
