Psalm 6

David was a man after Gods own heart.
David was man who fought with lion,, bear, and overcome.
David was man who fought Goliath when nobody else was able to fight.

The very thought of David brings fear into enemy's camp.
Even a Lion hearted warrior, his heart will melt when he sees David.

This man after Gods own heart says " Lord, I am weak".

Acknowledge your weakness before God.

America worships success. America's religion worship success. It does not accept anything less than the success.

Whenever we talk with any person, we always tell about our success, we tell about our achievements, rarely we would ever say I failed, rarely we confess our weakness.

I have rarely seen even in our Church, Hey iam feeling weak in this area, i need help.

But David says

2 Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak;
O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
3 3 My soul also is greatly troubled;
But You, O Lord—how long?

V 6 I am weary with my groaning;
[b]All night I make my bed swim;
V 7 I drench my couch with my tears.
7 My eye wastes away because of grief;
It grows old because of all my enemies.


You dont have to be brave to tell about your success.
Even a small child will say in success ( I did it), but the very samll child runs away in weakness.
The pharisee said in prayer "I tithe, I fast, I help".
The tax collector said in prayer , "Have mercy, Iam a sinner"

Be Brave to acknowledge your weakness  before God. 
Because you will find strength there. and you will go back Justified.
The One who acknowledge weakness before God and seek His help goes back Justified.

Heart of Gratitude

Not Only Acknowledging that we are weak, but a heart of remembrance and heart of thanks.


Return, O Lord, deliver me!
Oh, save me for Your mercies’ sake!
5 For in death there is no remembrance of You;
In the grave who will give You thanks?

in death - there is no remembrance.

In Death who will remember you.
If you don't remember God in your lives - it is equal to death.
Any sign of Life  is Remembrance of God.

In the grave who will give You thanks.
What does that mean? Only thankful hearts are alive.
Sometimes we are so consumed of ourselves, we forget being thankful for even small things in life.


Visitor story

Be brave to acnowledge weakness.
Remember God in every walk of your life, every decision that you take. That is the sign of life.
Be thankful, which shows that you are alive.
