Respected leaders, have experience a but not necessarily faith.
V26- land was good
V28- people were huge
Even though i don't understand I just trust him.
Don't give voice to doubts, but give voice to faith.
Numbers 14:24
Caleb has different Spirit
V1,2
1) I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works.
2 2) I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.
Whatever you do whole heartedly.
What is this whole heartedly?
Can you ever imagine your spouse preparing the rice half cooked.
even in the downstairs, say they prepared half cooked rice. Will you eat that? You will throw away. because the body cannot digest half cooked rice.
we want to eat a fully cooked food. but when it comes to praise , worship, loving God, we are mostly half hearted.
how many times you would be singing songs to God and your mind is roaming about your work, your issues in life.
how many times when Pastor is preaching, so many play video games sitting at the back.
how many times when worship is going on, so many watching social media?
wholehearted - means undivided loyalty.
God demands wholeheartedness.
1 Chronicles 28:9
"As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.
Serve God with whole heart, willing mind.
A whole hearted person does 3 things.
1) There is a joy in his heart.
You see people grumpy many times. Some people are so ready to fight if you just shake them a little bit.
A whole hearted person rejoices all the time.
2) They will sing songs out of that joy.
A whole hearted person not only sings in this 1 hour of worship, but the one who sings even when he is out in this world.
3) They tell about all his wonderful works.
A whole hearted person tells about his wonderful works. He testifies.
V11 says Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion!
Declare His deeds among the people.
4) Every intention of a wholehearted man is about God.
13) Have mercy on me, O Lord!
Consider my trouble from those who hate me,
You who lift me up from the gates of death,
14 14) That I may tell of all Your praise
In the gates of [e]the daughter of Zion.
I will rejoice in Your salvation.
V 3 - When my enemies turn back,
They shall fall and perish at Your presence.
We see so many people saying- I will show who iam.
You have not seen my real side.
but David says, when they turns back, they shall fall and persih at your presence.
When a person is whole hearted, the Presence of God surrounds him. that is why when Caleb followed God whole heartedly, the enemies could not stand him because the presence of God protected him.
God is a righteous judge.
V16.
The Lord is known by the judgment He executes;
The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.
God is JUST and righteous judge sitting on the throne.
The Lord is known by the judgment He executes;
8 V8 He shall judge the world in righteousness,
And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness.
We know God by His Love, by His Name, by His Mercy, by His Grace.
The world will know God by His Judgement.
If you are oppressed today because of any unjust cause in your life.
Your conscience is clean and you are being oppressed by a colleague or neighbor or school. Know for sure God is a righteous judge. Trust Him and He will not forsake you.
The wicked always try to put a pit , but it harms them only.
The [f]nations have sunk down in the pit which they made;
In the net which they hid, their own foot is caught.
Esau plotted evil against Gods plan, but ended up in serving it.
Josephs brothers plotted against Gods plan, but ended up furthering that plan.
Haman prepared a gallows for Mordecai, but ended up hanging there.
God is a just God and righteous God. Never plan wicked thought , wicked words in others life, that will only hurt you.
but instead serve God with whole heartedness.
