Some people do wrong things in right place.

Annaias and Sapphira were are right place in the Church  but doing wrong things.

Just like many come to the right place to Church  on Sunday morning this is a right place.
But do wrong rhings..
Some play videos games, some keep looking at Facebook.

Rather be filled with Holy Presence of God.
As you start entering there should be a song in your heart and lips.

As you enter the presence of God should fill you.

The Revelation  of God's house is first came to Jacob.
And then when this Revelation came he was afraid.

And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”
Genesis 28:17 NKJV.

Beware God is not mocked.

Some people try to do right   thing at a wrong place.

After the man finishes his journey on the earth.
Then it's either on this side or on that side.

Luke 16
“Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’

“Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house,  for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’
Luke 16:27‭-‬28 NKJV

Your praise , your declaring of the gospels. Everything is here while you have breath.

After this journey is done , one who believed in Jesus will be with Abraham in paradise
And one who spent his time on pleasures of the world without repentance will be with the rich man.

REALITY

1.He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Is God Real in your lives?

The way we connect to a person in our family, in our friends in a tangible way,
how do we connect to unseen God in a tangible way.

Psalm 145:18
18 The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.

For God to be real in our lives. you need to ask God to be real in our lives.
If you want to know whether a certain food is tasty, you got to eat the food, then only you can say the food is tasty.

Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.


One of the things that I did recently with my kids to impress upon their hearts that God is real. 

Few days back, my 5 year old daughter was having fever. The second day night before sleep, I wanted this opportunity to be used to tell them that Jesus is real for them. 

Before they went to bed, i asked my son to ask Jesus to heal his sister.
He in his little prayer, said Jesus heal my sister, morning she should not have any fever and they both went to sleep.

Then I asked God , God heal my daughter. The whole night my wife and myself were watching , any fever, no fever,  and early in the morning, woke up and praying for no fever, so they will know that Jesus healed her. Morning she wokeup happily and I told my son you prayed and Jesus healed.
and we all knelt down prayed, Jesus Shalom prayed and Lord you healed sister.

I was just thanking God.


You need to have experiences with God, walking with God.


Few years back in our Church sunday school, i started a small program called 
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".

Some stopped watching TV for few days, some stopped eating chocolates, and when i was doing this.
While going back home i was thinking about this program, Lord this program is started, and as i was thinking there was car in front of me  a very old car and that caught my attention and i saw the number plate  and it was PHIL 413

Few years back, my passport has expired.


Reality of Life - 

If you see the Life of Lord Jesus, you will know the reality of life.

For example : Samaritan woman judgement.

Here Jesus says go, call your husband and come here. 
Checking for honest.
The best thing you can do in life is being honest.
There is more hope for honest people than the ones who act/pretend.
when you are honest - Jesus goes deep into your life.
Jesus did not say, you sinner, you got married and divorced five times and now you have a boyfriend who also does not want to marry you.

We see in this world, people calling out names, characters, you are like that , you are like this.
But welcome to the World of Jesus, he does not apply band aids, he goes deep inside.

People condemning sinners. 
Don't apply bandages - but go deep - Boils example

Infact it was not the woman who divorced, but it was men who divorced in those days, she was rejected by five men, and now the one who was living does not want to marry.

Hungry for God

Since many days, for me coming to Church , doing the work given to me. Everything is happening.
I was finishing my daily reading , I was finishing my prayer. My family prayer.

Until one day recenty, God put in my heart.
Why are you doing what you do as tasks to compete.
It was like  checking of the boxes.
This task is done.

Prayer is done.
Church is done.
Reading is done.

It's becoming a like every day tasks to complete.

I have to sit down and confess and ask God for a hunger and thirst of the Lord.

Hunger : the definition of hunger is a feeling of discomfort or weakness caused by lack of food and coupled with desire to eat.

In physical terms  whenever we are hungry, now that we are doing fasting, there is a weakness because there is no food.

And there is a desire to eat food.

Hunger = Weakness + Desire to eat.

If any person does not have this hunger there is something wrong in his body.

Our bell rings exactly for breakfast , lunch. Dinner and to add to that we keep eating snacks in case we get hungry.

But when it comes to the presence of God.

We neither feel weak nor the desire to eat is there.

We do many things but that feeling of weakness doesn't come because there was no food nor that desire to eat is not there.

Spiritually, sometimes this weakness could be

Just loneliness.
An empty feeling.
Nobody cares for me.
I have everything but am not satisfied.
Everything looks vain.

These kind of things could be the weakness in an hunger for God.

But when we have this weakness , we try to eat junk food.

Suppose lonely, then let's do some chatting in social media. Junk

Moses said in Exodus 33
Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with  us, do not bring us up from here. For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.”
Exodus 33:15‭-‬16 NKJV

Lord if your presence does not go, please don't take from here.

His reason was how will people know what's the difference between them and worldly people.

Many times we want to be identified with other people but Moses wants to be separated from others and the separation is only possible with Stamp of the Presence of God.
Nobody in the camp of Israel asked for it, only Moses.
Because He has that hunger for God.

Job

Job was a man who had everything in his life.
He was a blessed man.
He was a rich man, family man,
He had properties . He had everything that a man could ask for in life.

But when tragedy struck in his life, he could still overcome .
Because his life was not wrapped in the blessing that he got.
His life was not wrapped in his money, properties or not even in family.

But His life was wrapped in the presence of God.
Every morning his desire was to go to presence of God.

Job 23:12
I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth More than my necessary food.

Job says that He treasured
The God's Word more than His daily portion of food.

That's quite a statement of faith.

Genesis 25:32 NKJV
This is the exact opposite statement of what Esau said.
And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?”

For any person in this world,

True there are many things that are important, money is important, love is important, but finally it boils down to one thing that is his daily portion of food.

Esau said what benefit is birthright , he preferred food over God's Word.

But Job says I treasure for God's Word more than daily food.

There is hunger in Job for God's Word and that is what has sustained him in trials.

Dry and Parched land.

O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.
Psalms 63:1 NKJV

My soul thirsts for you.
My flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.

This world is a dry and thirsty land ,
Everything this world gives is a contrast to what God gives.

Jesus says I give you peace , not the peace that world gives.

This is a dry and thirsty land
So psalmist says I will look towards your sanctuary,
V5 my soul shall be satisfied with marrow and fatness.

For the psalmist there is this hunger, not a ritualistic activity of looking towards sanctuary.

But just like a dry and parched land is lack of water.

Hungry and Thirsty for God.

Deuteronomy 8:3 NKJV

So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord .

The  reason why God allowed people of Israel to hunger and then fed them with manna.

Man shall not live by bread alone, but man lives by every Word that comes from Lord.

Many in our Church might be hungry today and waiting for Word of God.

God gives this manna so that we will know we live by every Word of God.

New born baby
Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,


How to have this hunger

Isaiah 55:1 NKJV

“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.
Why do you spend money for what  is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what  is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.
Isaiah 55:2 NKJV

We spend lot of money on what is not bread.
We think we will be satisfied with this dress, with this new phone, with this house, with this car.

But we never got satisfied and that evaporates very soon.

This Word says no money,no price, but all you need is to sacrifice. Leave of the things that is not bread.

Come to the bread of heaven.
Come to the Living waters.

Revelation 21:6 NKJV

And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

A new born baby
1PETER .2.1-2.

Apostle Peter says lay aside all malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy and evil speaking.
If you want the hunger for God in you.
First we need to put aside, you
Cannot seek God without putting these aside and then desire for God's Word.

Just like new born in our churches, desire for God's Word.
Then you will grow.
Growth is based on your hunger



Did you lose your appetite? Once upon a time you were hungry for God? Now you lose that fire.
You dont feel weakness when there is no presence of God?
Or even if you are weak, are you feeding on Junk food?

Desire for His Presence , more than your daily food.
We spend lots of money on what we think are food but not actually bread.

Lord Jesus says in John 6:35

35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst

37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will[f]by no means cast out.

Psalm 27

If there is one thing that you would ask God? what it could be?

Riches? Good Health? Revenge against enemies? Wisdom? Power?

1 Kings 3 - The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this. 11 So God said to him, “Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice

One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the [b]beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple.

V8
8 When You said, “Seek My face,”
My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”

Fear - Fear is a feeling induced by perceived danger or threat.


Fear is a feeling , caused by situations/people happening in your life, or happened in the past or that might happen in future.




But for the psalmist, there was no technology, there is no money , he says even when an army is camped against me, i wil not fear.



V3 says 
Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.

What kind of confidence is this that even when an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear.

Today the technology is advanced, we are living in a gadget world, information is very handy, lots of money,  no lack of bread.
 --
but the fear rate is at all time high.
The suicide rates are at a high.

We get afraid of everything-- if doctor says something , we get afraid.
if the SAT exam coming up - we get afraid
we get afraid of what will boss say on monday morning 

Fear Fear Fear. you see around the world there is fear.



But for the psalmist, there was no technology, there is no money , he says even when an army is camped against me, i will not fear.

Psalmist brings out 3 aspects.


The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?



The psalmist gives few reasons not to fear.
1) Light
2) Salvation
3) Strength.

Light - Where there is darkness, there is fear.
God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all.
Do you ever by closing your eyes. If you walk blindfolded, you will stumble and fall.

Darkness makes you stumble.
Darkness means living without God, not knowing God. Living in sin is darkness.
Being yoked with unbelievers is darkness. what fellowship has light with darkness

Anything that is not acceptable to the Lord - is darkness.


Ephesians 5:8-13
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the [b]Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather [c]expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things that are [d]exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 


The only way to get out of darkness is follow Jesus.
You got to purposefully follow Jesus to be in the light.

John 8:12
Follow Jesus
12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”


The bible says you are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night and not of darkness.
1 Thessalonians 5:5
 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness

The darkness produces fear , but the Light gives life.

second is  Salvation

Salvation is about being saved.

If you are in a house of fire, do you wish to get saved or do you want to stay in the same house that is getting fire.

If you live in a place of fire , there is always a fear what happens next.
As you come into this house of God, repent of every sin that committed and turn to Lord Jesus and ask for forgiveness.

Whenever i talk to few people about baptism, some say i am still thinking , i am still praying.

but if you are in a house getting caught with fire, and a firefighter comes and asks you, will you say let me think about it, or pray about it.

3) Strength - 

Weakness, Lack of strength causes fear.
The world belongs to those who are powerful.


Psalmist says The Lord is my Light, Salvation, Strength - Whom shall i fear?



Love - Perfect love casts out every fear.
There is no fear in love.
If you truly love God, you will not fear.

It is in the presence of the Lord, that you will find this Light, Salvation,Strength.



What is the fear that you are going through in your life.

fear of health
fear of job
fear of future
fear of your kids lives

I have good news for you. In The Name of Jesus , there is no fear.

The very Name of Jesus, this is the Name that is exalted above every other Name, there is no fear.

Speak the Name of Jesus to your body.
Let every part of your body know that In the Name of Jesus they are healed.

If you are someone worried about kids lives - Say Jesus , declare Jesus in kids lives.

If you are waiting for a door to open - Say Jesus.

If you are having problem in relationships - Say Jesus
If you are angry  = say Jesus
If you are upset - say Jesus
If you are not in good mood - say Jesus


Jesus is the answer for every problem in life.
We are weak , but He is strong.

Foundation

Laying a foundation

born again - and when you are born again, we want you to be healthy.

Few new born s have some issues when they are born, they may have some sickness, may not weigh more, some other issue,

but a healthy child , is one who will be nurtured by the mom, given good food, make them good exercise,run , play with them and make them grow stronger.

Just like when a baby is new born , all these things what mom and dad take care,
similarly, when a person is born again, a new believer, what we do here is feed the new born with good food, some healthy stuff, make you do good exercise of faith, you will grow stronger.

That what we do here.
This is a place of laying foundation.

A good foundation is required for anything in life.

a building needs a good foundation.
If there is no good foundation, as you keep building the house, you might see the effects of bad foundation in the house

but a rock solid foundation, as the years pass-by it will stay strong, in the storms , will face it and stay strong.



One of the principles that God has established on earth is - a field.



Genesis 2:8

8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. 

15 Then the Lord God took [d]the man and put him in the garden of Eden to [e]tend and keep it.

Adam when he was made, God put him in a garden . He was not hanging out there in the air

and He was given a task to tend and keep it. Take care of it.

A farmer needs a field to sow the crop.

An athlete requires a track to run the race.

A boxer requires a ring to knock out other boxer.

This phenomena of a Field is established by God.

And it applies even to a christian believer.

You have a field.

Being Mission oriented is not about a summer trip to some cool places.

Being a witness in the field that God has placed you is what Gods calling is for each one of us.

Daniel 1:8

8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Being a witness to Christ starts from Knowing the Word-

If you don't know the Word , you cannot be a witness.

Daniel knows from the Word of God that the unbelievers and heathen food is mixed with blood or offered to idols, so he knows the Word. and he purposed in his heart.

Luke 8:

15 But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.[

Your Witness about Christ starts from strong determination in your heart and say I don't care how the world lives, but i live for Christ.

Our fears might be our health.
Outer man decays.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

Inner man

1 Thessalonians 5: 23,24

23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify[g] you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.



Spirit, Soul, body

Soul - mind, emotions, decision.

Spirit - connected to God by Holy Spirit.

When God made Adam - He made the body. But that body did not have any life. It was just body. But when God breathed into nostrils of Adam the breath of life.
man became a living being.

Genesis 2:7

7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

When a baby is born, the doctors make the baby breathe by using some suction tools.
The first breath a baby breathes is from the oxygen that is in the air.

But when Adam was made, for him to become alive, a living being God has to breathe into his nostrils.

The very first breath of Adam was not the oxygen of the air, but it was the very breath of God.

So now Adam is a living being.

Adam - Has a body, soul and Spirit.


So we have Outer man and Inner man.

Outer man is what is the flesh. what is being revealed.

Outward man
Inward man

Outward man - Is the flesh that you see.
Everything you see outside - physical body , stature, height, look, dressing, 
your wealth, your grandeur, your talents - all your outer man.

Inward man - is your Spirit.

When Samuel was to choose the next king of Israel and he saw the eldest of Jesse and thought surely he was the next king, God said, Samuel that is Outer man.

1 Samuel 16:7
7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have [a]refused him. For[b] the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Gods choosing of a man for a purpose is never based on outer man.
Not his abilities, not his wealth, not his grandeur, not his looks. God does not see as man sees . For man sees outside, but God sees looks at the inner man.

Man always sees at the outer man, even for godly purposes. for example, Samuel came to anoint. anointing is a godly act, but still Samuel being the prophet for many years still sees the outer man.
but God tells Samuel, no outer man, go to the inner man.

That is why when Saul sins when he disobeyed Gods command

The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”

God was looking ( sought) for Himself a man after His own heart.
God did not say, the physical requirements of the man is this. He should this much height, weight.
But with God , inner man matters.



Revival through the renewal of inner man.
Encouragement 


Many times we take encouragement from the outerman.
Oh my son is studying well. Oh i have this much bank balance, so no need to worry for another 6 months.
Oh my health is good , so am fine.
Oh my family is well settled, so this is good.

The encouragement that we take is most of the times is from outward man.
But Paul says the encouragement we take should not be from the outer man, it should be from the inner man.


2 Corinthians 4:16
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Do not lose heart - Do not be discouraged - by outward man perishing.
Paul was in chains for the gospel sake. and he was persecuted frequently, severely for sharing the gospel.


and during this time he says even though the outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

His body is decaying outside for sake of Christ.

2 Corinthians 11
3 Are they ministers of Christ?—I speak as a fool—I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often. 24 From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; 26 in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, inperils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; 27 in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness— 28 besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches. 29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to stumble, and I do not burn with indignation?


see the body in sleeplesness, hunger, thirst, fastings, cold, nakedness, prison, almost death, beaten with rods, stripes.


The encouragement for Paul is not about body, the encouragement for him from the Inward man that is renewed day by day.

How is it with us.

Are you encouraged because your inward man is getting renewed.
Wow, this year iam really strenghted in God by the Word that has come.
I am so joyful this time, because there are revelations coming to through His Word.
I am really overjoyed because my children are walking in truth.
What is the root of your encouragement.


Is it inner man or outer man?


Coming to the battles.

Very frequently , we do the battles of the outer man.
We rarely do the battles of Daniel, battles of the apostles, of the Church.

If someone upsets us, we try to make it even.
Or we take revenge by not talking to them or interfering with them.

We do the fight with flesh and blood.

1 Samuel 25: 10,11

10 Then Nabal answered David’s servants, and said, “Who is David, and who is the son of Jesse? There are many servants nowadays who break away each one from his master. 11 Shall I then take my bread and my water and my [c]meat that I have killed for my shearers, and give it to men when I do not know where they are from?”

12 So David’s young men turned on their heels and went back; and they came and told him all these words. 13 Then David said to his men, “Every man gird on his sword.” 

After hearing nabal's response, David was ready to fight the battle of the outer man.
Every man gird on his sword.

David usually does not do these kind of battles.

Then Abigail comes and says

23 Now when Abigail saw David, she dismounted quickly from the donkey, fell on her face before David, and bowed down to the ground. 24 So she fell at his feet and said: “On me, my lord, on me let this iniquity be! And please let your maidservant [f]speak in your ears, and hear the words of your maidservant. 25 Please, let not my lord [g]regard this scoundrel Nabal. For as his name is, so is he: [h]Nabal is his name, and folly is with him! But I, your maidservant, did not see the young men of my lord whom you sent. 2


Do not regard this nabal.

Because my lord fights the battles of the Lord.

What battles do you fight every day.
David was not a normal man, he does not fight with flesh and blood, if he fights with flesh and blood he would have killed Saul long time back.
But He fights the battles of the Lord. As led by the Spirit of God, as led by God he fights. he does not fight the battles of flesh and blood.


28 Please forgive the trespass of your maidservant. For the Lord will certainly make for my lord an enduring house, because my lord fights the battles of the Lord, and evil is not found in you throughout your days.
Fight the battles of God



So how does this inner man gets strengthened.


Ephesians 3:14

14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father [f]of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,



Only through the Holy Spirit we get the strengthened in the inner man.


He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself - Strengthens Himself.

Word - How does David get strengthened in the inner man

But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he [b]meditates day and night.

Romans 7:22
 22 For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. 


Those who worship God should worship in Truth and Spirit.


When this strength is revealed, wherever we go that will be blessed.
Jesus, wherever He goes  they are blessed.
