Why do you think God has put the trees?
If there was ever just a tree that is Tree of Life, Life would have been great.
But what I realized over all these 40 years, God test what is in mans heart even from the beginning.
Self Conscious:
The moment they ate they realized something about themselves.
Till then they dont know what it means to be naked?
They are not thinking about themselves.
They are not about themselves, they know only about God and his creation.
Too many of us are conscious about ourselves, what other people think about me, what happens if take stand for God. This is all knowledge of good and evil.
I am not getting importance in the Church, nobody is recognizing me.
2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
After the Tree of Life is secured, the bible says for those who overcomes, the Tree of Life
7 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” ’
Eating from Tree of Life means - Complete dependence on God. Life in partnership with God
John 5:29,30
9 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
Adam chose to live a life of independence.
But In Christ , we can do all things.
John 10:10
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
This life that comes from Jesus, is abundant.
Abundance - we always relate to material things, more food, big house, more money. Today we see so many people following the ways of the world. they want to dress up like others. They want to speak like the world. They want to post their best pictures in the face book to get likes.
Thats all carnal thinking.
Spritual minded - Life , Carnal mind - death
Jesus does not have any of these things in the world.
In fact when disciples have asked where do you live, Jesus says fox has dens ,birds has nest but Son of man has no place to lay his head.
But still he has abundant life.
Many of us cry that we don't have houses or not enough big houses, rarely we cry for the abundant life.
Jesus does not have big money making job, he was just a carpenter. Carpenter has to work hard to meet his daily needs.
But still he was able to pay the taxes when all other multimillionaires might be evading tax.
Abundant Life is Life With God. Your vision , provision , everything is from God.
Hebrews 11:38 of whom the world was not worthy.
When someone looks at you and says WOW. You are like this you are like that, the world is worthy of you.
But when someone rejects you or hate you because you took a stand to obey God, then you are declaring that this world is not worthy of you.
Psalms 84:10
For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.
I would rather [g]be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
If you spend one day in Gods house is better than almost 3 years outside.
Why?
you spent years outside, where there was no life.
But now you are coming to Church and recognized how did I waste my time.
I still think I should have known God when i was Samuel,
I should have known God at the age of Josiah
I should have known God at the age of Daniel, Esther,Mary.
I tell you the years we spent outside, a single day is better than outside because there is Life in the presence of God.
It is about how you put the value:
If your value is your valet, then your heart is also there.
Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
The choices you make matters.

The whole bible is two foundation Truths.
1) Tree of Life
2) Tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Genesis 2:8 - Two trees
8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. 9 And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
The Tree of Life - reprsents God.
Tree of knowledge of good and evil - represents the satan.

The greatest command is You shall Love your God with all your heart soul and mind.
This is first commandment in law.
But in Genesis,
The first commandment God gave for man is
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you[f] shall surely die.”
The whole course of mankind is based on these 2 trees.
God said you can eat of every tree freely, you don't have to earn , but you can freely. Freely He has given life.
Adam and Eve chose to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and the rest is history.
If Adam has chosen to eat from tree of life, the life would have been peace, but he chose to ear tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Today we see man has grown leaps and bounds in technology, innovations.
so many things. Man can fly to space, sending rockets to Mars.
but if you see he cannot solve the conflicts in middle east.
After man ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, their eyes were opened, they did not receive life . death entered in them.
The moment they ate they realized something about themselves.
Till then they dont know what it means to be naked?

What you eat Matters.
if you eat from tree of life, you will receive life.
if you eat from tree of knowledge of good and evil, there is death.
After they ate , God drove them away, so that they might live forever with the sin that already with them.
If they had eaten, then the sin would have been permanent.
When God rebukes us in our time of disobedience, say thank you Lord for this rebuke, otherwise we will continue in that disobedience.
Genesis 3:22-24
22 Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”
24 So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life
The life in the Most Holy Place is about eating from this Tree of Life.
What is this Tree of Life.
Lord Jesus says in John 6:54
53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is[k]food indeed, and My blood is [l]drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”
Eating is important.
What you eat matters.
This Tree of Life has healing.
Revelation 22:2

15 “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.
