2 Timothy 1:13,14

 13 Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. 14 That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

Sound Word

Hold on to the Word:

Good thing is the Word.

This Word that is deposited - can be used in time.

Meditation makes us Hold fast the pattern of that Word

Genesis 24:63 And Isaac went out to meditate in the field in the evening; and he lifted his eyes and looked, and there, the camels were coming

Why do our boys go to the field?

our boys/men goto field to play, or do some work etc.

But Isaac goes to field

Meditation meaning - getting the Word of God into your heart... receiving it...

like IV - no other food.. only IV

No Holiday 

Ezekiel2:1 And He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you.” 2 Then the Spirit entered me when He spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard Him who spoke to me

Implanted Word

James 1:21

21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and [d]overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

Sow the seed

 Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[c] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.

Numbers 13:: Moses

. 33 There we saw the [h]giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like[i] grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

People identified themselves as GrassHopers when they looked at the people around them.

The whole generation perished because they could not hold onto the Word of God.

Why did the Israelites wandered for 40 years in the woods? because they could not hold onto the Word.

Humbleness is agreement with Gods Word

Amen- Body , Soul and Spirit should agree to the Word of God.

Even if whole genreation dont agree, you agree to the Word of God. 

Rahab held onto the Word

Joshua 2:11

11 And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted; neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because of you, for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.

Whole Jericho heard about how God did the wonders for Israelites.

But they heard, but nobody held on to that Word like Rehab.

God did wonders in some places.

Faith is like the Potential that can change life.

Genesis17 :1When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am [a]Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. 

Blameless walk comes only Word.

Blameless walk comes by the Word of God and meditation.
