Introduction: Everyone wants to live in a good strong house, a house that is not shaken easily.
Growing up , I used to visit my grandparents house which has taatekulu. But when there are storms they will be very shaky.
A house to be strong needs a very good foundation.
Skyscrapers :
Skyscrapers in Newyork city or Dubai. Their foundation goes to approximately 160 feet.
The strength of the house and how it withstands the winds, the storms, it all depends on how strong the foundation is.
How about our life?
Everyone wants a good life and a strong life that can sustain the happenings of life. The foundation is prayer life.
When we think of prayer. Some people do it out of routine.
there are routine prayers that we do.
Prayer before eating food
Family Prayer
Prayer before going to bed
Prayer when going out of the house
Prayer when you get up from the bed.
These are all good. But today we are going deep and see what prayer life is.
Selfish man
A man who only prays for his needs is a selfish man.
For example, in a home, if the man of the house only talks when he has a need.
I need food, I need clothes.
If this is the only talk, but he purposefully does not spend time in the presence of his household,,, he is a selfish person.
So what is this prayer?
Result of Love
Your Prayer life is a result of love that you have for God.
Spending time in the presence of God. Rejoicing,
Speaking to invisible God so intimately. Rejoicing in Him, telling Him what He means to you. Talking with Him.

Some people cannot relate to God in any things, that is why they after 2 minutes they cannot pray.
How Not to Pray
Matthew 6:5,6
5 “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
Prayer has a reward:
I want to tell you your prayer has a reward from Heavenly Father.
Some of you might say I know God answers prayer, but i don't know there is a reward for prayer.

Principle of hypocrites is they do everything to be seen by men
No Show off
Anything that you do to impress the people, that becomes your reward and after you receive the peoples reward there is no reward from the Father in heaven.
As soon as you receive from the public, then heaven's reward is stopped.
We should not do things to impress people, such as buying a house, buying a car, anything that is for your needs and not to show off.
Principle in life: Anything to impress people and people appreciate that then the reward is from people and its done.
Secret place
6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you [c]openly.
Skyscrapers foundation is in hidden place.
One World trade center foundation is 150 ft under the ground.
So you goto BUrj Khallifa, what do you see the magnificent building or the foundation..
Foundation is not visible.

Your foundation is in the secret place.
Results are for people to see
Foundation is for God to see.

Daniel life is a life of Prayer

Let us look at Daniels life.
Daniel 9:2

Daniel opened the books, understood the Word of the Lord by Prophet Jermiah.. That it is 70 years.
When you read Word of God, you understand the things about your life, about your nation, about your people and about Gods purposes in your life.
That understanding will give you inspiration to Pray.

Anytime, it is the Word of God you should pray.

Prayer is the most effective way of bringing The Kingdom of heaven upon earth.
