Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob.
2 2 Raise a song and strike the timbrel,
The pleasant harp with the lute.

In Gods house, there is  celebration. there is joy,There is a joyful shout

A Leader does not perform, He leads

Difference between a person on the stage in  the house of God and a stage in theater or anywhere else

Luke 15:31

31 “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.

Partake

2 Peter 1:4

When you think of Gods Power.  what comes to your mind.

Power to create, Power to save, Power to forgive.

Divine Power : 

 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue

 partakers of the divine nature,

Divine nature.  Divine Nature is Opposite to Corruption in the world.

Everyone of us has Adam nature.

Abundance of grace in life.

Romans 5:17

17 For if by the one man’s [g]offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

Image of God.

But If you see the life of Lord Jesus, He brought heaven down.

He showed what a life in heaven would be on earth.

When we study the gospels if we study the Nature of the Lord, we will understand what it means to have Divine Nature.

Jesus loved sinners ( prostitutes, tax collectors, people who are considered sinners by the society) , but rebuked the religious leaders.

Divine Nature rebukes hypocrites, Divine Nature brings sinners to God.

Divine Nature is not moved by the mood swings, emotional upsets, Divine Nature seeks the Truth of God. Hears from God, and Does the Word of God.

To That Nature that Divine Nature, Life of Knowing and Living for Christ,  Peter says come and parttake.

PARTAKING

Partake is mostly related with eating or drinking. or joining in an activity.

Partake examples: phone, meeting, Church

Wedding Feast:  garments

Partake in Divine nature means  you join purposefully involving in that divine nature

Privilege

Some people always think 

whether i should goto movie or not, i should goto this place or not.

Partaking in Divine Nature is Privilege for Gods people Spiritual minded people that carnal mind cannot afford

Some people will be in Gods house, but they say pastor is not giving me importance, others are given more preference.

They don't know how to partake.

Luke 15:

28 “But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. 29 So he answered and said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. 30 But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.’

31 “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.

I wonder why Father never asked the older son to make a party. All I have is yours.

And the Father wants him to know that he is a son.

Partaking is Excellent Privilege.

Matthew 15:25-27

25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”

26 But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”

27 And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”

Many people would focus on being called as dog. But this woman was focussed on partaking even as a dog. she is looking what she can get as a dog.

Her focus is on the bread and the crumbs and the partaking of the bread.

Many people come to communion on Sunday they eat , drink and go.

But there will be few hungry people who come , who dont just take it ritual, but Partake and it becomes a blessing for them.

PROMISES

by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, 

Precious Promises.

Today the Church's biggest problem is it does not know its bank?

Promises of God are your bank.

What is your promise for this year.

Isaiah 40:31

Your walking into your future should be dependant on your promise.

People say "I dont get time for prayer" ..

You don't get time, you make time for prayer.

Partake in Life, Do not partake in death

I am the God of Living

God of Abraham

Gods  is all about Life.

Matthew 22:32

32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

1 Timothy 6:12  - Lay Hold

12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses

Forsake Egypt

Hebrews 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.

Moses was hidden.

Moses stayed in palace, but he did not partake in the passing pleasures of sin.

Moses refused to participate in Identifying himself as son of pharaoh daughter

Colossians 3:3  For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Association reveals partaking.

What is my association.

Who are my friends reveal my partaking.

Isaiah 40:31

Renews the strength

Participation

Prayer gives strength 

Waiting gives strength

Hannah was no more sad after she waited on the Lord

 

Partaking in Prayer

31 [d]And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”

Your partaking in prayer life is so crucial

Todays prayer is a deposit for tomorrow.

God revealed to Abraham.. God wants Abraham.

We are in a season where there is no more Casual Christian life.

Partaking in the Plans of God, Prophecies of God

Greater things to come.

Psalms 80 ( V 8- 18)

We are living the days where Faith is tested.

A Time and season where people easily turn their backs to God.

Every season separates people who live by faith and those fall away from faith

Looking at what is going on around the world,  there will be many who fall away, but there will be people who will keep their faith.

Crisis reveals Character. 

Lord says in Luke 18:8

Will Son of Man find faith when He returns.

When the Lord comes back , He is not worried about miracles, about healings,. But one thing that He sees is FAITH.

Convictions :

Romans 8:38,39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Apostle Paul had deep conviction that nothing can separate from love of God in Christ. 

Today we are living in a generation that does not have convictions, but lot of questions. 

Strong in the Spirit

V18 Revive us and we will call upon Your Name

Revive - 

Breathing Life into something that is not functioning.

Just coming to Church and paying tithes is not revival.

But 

being strengthened in Spirit

Staying Faithful is Revival.

Un-compromised life style is Revival

You life changing other lives is revival.

You standing as a testimony is revival

When the whole crowd is following one way, you reject the crowd behavior, and Trust in the Lord is revival.

Ephesians 5:14

14 Therefore He says:

“Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.”

Psalm 80 ( V 1-7)

 Repentance brings Restoration

A broken and contrite heart 

Surgeon brings knife

Restoration means bringing back to you what belongs to you.

Restore us?

What belongs to the believer?

There are people sitting here, who might have lost hope, joy, love.

May be some people might say life became very boring.

What did you loose in your life?

Might be a sin made you lost the real stuff.

So how does God restores a persons life.

Psalmist says in Psalm 23

He restores my soul.

God restores you by causing His Face Shine upon you.

God restoration begins by taking us through humble situations.

When we go though that brokenness , Gods face shines up

Job 42:10,11

 10 And the Lord [d]restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. 11 Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the Lord had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold.

Mark 14:29

29 Peter said to Him, “Even if all are made to [j]stumble, yet I will not be.”

72 A second time the rooster crowed. Then Peter called to mind the word that Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.” And when he thought about it, he wept.

Humbleness, Contrite and Broker Heart is where God restores.

Today you might be doing things in your strength. 

Peter even tells Jesus.

When Holy Spirit came, We are all witness of Christ.

Word of God is for your restoration. Word of God is not to condemn you.

Word of God is to restore the joy , love, peace.
