Oh, how I love Your law!
It is my meditation all the day.


We can Read the Word,
We can talk about the Word
We can share the Word

When does the Word becomes our Meditation.
When we love the Word, the Word becomes our meditation.

Last week the woman who won the lottery ticket, what would she be meditation on?
She might have won 300 million. she will be meditating on the money, what do with money, how to spend money, what if somebody steal the money.

But what do you meditate on?

How do you get time to meditate on it?
David was king, he has to perform kingly duties. has to plan for wars. lots of things, but he says he still meditates on the Word of God all the day.

2 Samuel 17
V7 - Hushai says the advice is not good.
V10: Then even the bravest soldiers, though they have the heart of a lion, will be paralyzed with fear.

When you meditate on this Word

1) Wiser than enemies
2) More understanding than teachers
3) You will keep your feet from every evil way.
4) Hate every false way

Ahitophel was Davids counseller, but as Absalom rebelled, ahitophel became counseller to absalom and became enemy to David.

David prayed one thing - Lord turn the advice of ahithophel into foolish advise.
When you meditate on the Word , you are more wiser than enemies, when you obey the Word you have more understanding than all your teachers or counsellers. You have every false way.

Psalm 119 65-80

When do we say "God has dealt well with me." ?
When you get a blessing, when you get a good life partner, when you get a house.
It is easy to say God has dealt well with me if we you see good things in life.
But look at when Psalmist is saying this.

Before I was afflicted
But Now.

This should be a testimony of the believers.
Today if you ask people to say testimonies, people will be so bored, as soon some people start giving testimonies, others will leave.

Some testimonies go like this.  I went to this place, and i boarded on the car, and the car tires are MRF and they are so expensive, even though they are expensive, but because of the roads in India the tires are flat, and it was hot side, .......and finally God has blessed us with nice car.

You testimony of Gods goodness should be about God.
Hannah, her condition was she was childless and others were looking down on her, but God intervened and remembered and now she has Child Samuel, and the shame is gone.

I was going through this sin, but God afflicted , now I started obeying God.

V73: Your hands have made me and fashioned me;
Give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments.

When God is taking you through time of affliction, first question is not Why me?
But God what are you teaching me? What should i learn


V75: Let those who fear You turn to me,
Those who know Your testimonies.

When God is taking you through time of affliction, Be surrounded by people who fear God. Those who walk in the ways of God. Those who can lift you up.
